🧭 Itinerary Overview
Day 1 — Arrival in Islamabad. Arrive at Islamabad International Airport and transfer to a centrally located hotel. Rest and prepare for the road journey ahead.

Day 2 — Into Naran Valley. Drive out of the capital and into the mountains, following the river through increasingly dramatic scenery until you reach the tranquil Naran Valley for an overnight stay.

Day 3 — The Road to Hunza. A long but spectacular drive north toward Hunza Valley, with stops at the iconic Nanga Parbat Viewpoint — looking out over the world's ninth highest peak — and the sweeping Rakaposhi Viewpoint. Overnight in Karimabad.

Day 4 — A Day in Hunza. Explore the soul of Hunza at a leisurely pace — visit the royal Baltit Fort and Altit Fort, browse Karimabad Bazaar for local crafts and gemstones, walk the ancient water channels of Altit Village, and cap the evening at Eagle's Nest with a panoramic view over the valley.

Day 5 — Glaciers and a Lake. Drive into Hopper Valley, walk through the centuries-old Ganish Village, and hike to Hopper Glacier. The afternoon brings you to the jewel-blue waters of Attabad Lake for a boating experience, before settling in for the night in Upper Hunza.

Day 6 — Upper Hunza on Foot. A slower, more contemplative day — take a short drive to serene Borith Lake, hike up to the Passu White Glacier viewpoint, stroll through Gulmit Village, and test your nerves on the famous Hussaini Suspension Bridge. Overnight in Gulmit.

Day 7 — Top of the World. Drive north to Khunjerab Pass at 4,693 metres, the highest paved international crossing on earth. Pass through the Karakoram Peaks National Park, with chances to spot Marco Polo sheep, snow leopards, and Himalayan ibexes on the way back.

Day 8 — Gilgit & Ancient Rock Art. Head back down to Gilgit, check in to your hotel, and explore the lively Gilgit Bazaar before visiting the remarkable Kargah Buddha — a 7th-century rock carving etched into the cliff face overlooking the river.

Day 9 — Swat Valley. Drive south toward the green, lush Swat Valley, once known as the Switzerland of Pakistan, with a scenic stop at the Nanga Parbat Viewpoint along the way.

Day 10 — Islamabad & Farewell.
