As a part of the Peranakan series of tours, this particular tour brings you to the area where many Peranakan people lived to look and relive the experience by envoking your senses of sights, smell and optionally taste on top of learning the history of the unique local culture of Peranakan.
As shown in the Introduction of Peranakan tour, Peranakan people are the descents of a mixed parentage between migrants and the local Malay people. The ancestors arrived centuries ago and many of the people had stayed in Singapore for generations, adapting and evolving our unique culture.

Is it indoor?
The tour visits an indoor, air-conditioned Peranakan Mansion but the rest of the tour is outdoor and non-air conditioned.
Is it wheelchair-friendly?
As this tour involves outdoor walking and climbing stairs, it is not suitable for guests with walking difficulties. Apologies.
What is the tour timing?
Timing for private tour is flexible while group tours have two options: Morning option starts at 11am and afternoon option starts at 3pm.
Can I bring my pet along?
The outdoor portion of the tour is pet friendly but they are not allowed inside the Peranakan Mansion and the dining establishments.
What is so special about this tour?
This unique culture dates back centuries ago and the costume on display and rentable, was inscribed on the UNESCO Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity on December 4, 2024.
